Give Yourself A New Challenge
Like most activity groups we are always in need of help. This doesn’t necessarily mean help with running the sections (although this is always welcome); we have admin vacancies and individual one off needs such as help with the marquee that we rent out to raise funds; transporting kids & kit to and from camps; assisting with the hotdog stall that we run at the St. Lawrence Fair.
We also welcome adults that have specialist skills that the Scouts can benefit from such as first aid / crafts / orienteering / archery / shooting / kayaking and climbing.
If becoming an Adult Leader, Instructor or Executive Committee Member appeals to you, it can be a great opportunity to give yourself a new challenge, gain new qualifications as well as inspire young people whilst enjoying yourself.
All Adult Leaders are given full training and are DBS checked.
If you feel you would like to help or just find out more e-mail us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
