About Us
The 1st Hurstpierpoint Scout Group was formed in 1909.
We moved into our current HQ in 1994 after many years of fundraising. In 2015 the HQ was extended to include a new activity room and increased storage.
In the summer of 2023 the HQ had 28 solar panels and a battery installed to reduce our carbon emissions and reduce our electricity bills.
You Have a Part to Play
The group is made up entirely of volunteers. We are always on the lookout for new volunteers to join our amazing team. Whether this be as a leader, instructor, executive committee member or parent helper. We would love to hear from you.
Group Board of Trustees
The group board of trustees plays a vital role in the running of the 1st Hurstpierpoint Scout Group. They aim to make sure that the Scout Group has the facilities and resources needed to deliver good quality Scouting in the Group.
